I have completed a Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with valid state licensure certified in Family Health and current BLS certification. I have three (3) years experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner with tasks, duties & responsibilities focus on:

• Evaluate and treat illness and injuries of employees at the health center.
• Coordinate health and wellness programs as an active member of the wellness committee
• Provides assessment and treatment of acute illness and injuries, using evidence based practice and policies, procedures and guidelines, with the emphasis on appropriate treatment, return to work, and presenteeism
• Supports the employee’s physician with monitoring of patient’s chronic medical problem, and counsels well employees to promote healthy behaviors and modify risk factors for heart disease, diabetes and other medical conditions
• Responds to emergencies and provides support of emergency response team
• Provides workstation ergonomic evaluations with recommendations for improvements, with follow-up evaluations after improvements are implemented
• Participates and supports health and wellness initiatives, health education and screening programs

In addition to my extensive experience, I have experience with corporate wellness, flexibility, good oral and written skills and the ability to work independently are all important qualities. My broad background makes me an excellent candidate for Nurse Practitioner position.
