Goldfarb School of Nursing at Barnes-Jewish College offers the Master of Science in Nursing-Adult Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program for BSN-prepared registered nurses interested in pursuing advanced nursing roles focusing on caring for critically ill and injured patients.

Clinical experiences emphasize gaining competence as a practitioner in the critical care environment, with additional focus in the urgent care and long term acute care areas at Barnes-Jewish Hospital. Students also become profifificient in invasive procedures and skills commonly utilized in acute and critical care, as well as in the business aspect of nurse practitioner practice.

Goldfarb School of Nursing at Barnes-Jewish College is located on the campus of Washington University Medical recognized educational facility with state-of-the-art classrooms, lecture halls and a Clinical Simulation Institute with six patient simulation labs and two exam rooms providing high-tech, advanced nursing care experiences.
